Fedder and Garten Professional Association Firm History

Fedder and Garten is one of Maryland’s most enduring law firms, continuously providing legal services since 1926.  The firm was started by Morris Fedder, who had been one of the first Internal Revenue Service agents.  Herbert S. Garten and Joel Fedder then joined the firm in the 1950’s.   The firm has grown to twelve lawyers and additional support staff, and practices in a wide variety of areas, including litigation, corporate law, real estate, estate and trust law, and employment law.  Fedder and Garten represents individuals as well as local, regional, and national organizations, and is dedicated to providing superior legal representation to its clients.”
